I am the proud part-owner of a 30 acre woodland in Mid Wales.  Apart from enjoying just spending time there, being a steward of the land and supplying firewood for myself and others, I extract the timber for milling and construction.  The trees are mainly Douglas Fir, Japanese Larch,  Sitka Spruce, Oak and Ash.  They all have their uses.  We are replanting the land with mixed broadleaf and other species that are hopefully resillient to climate change. We are fortunate not to have been afflicted with the disease (Phytophthora ramorum) which is affecting so much larch all over the British Isles, so we still have a good amount of it for use.

I am always available for a chat to discuss your ideas.

Take a look through the gallery below ... I look forward to hearing from you.
